This has got to be first my post in a trillion years!
Lol exaggerating I know
So, exams are finally over
Results are out
Holidays come to stay
And I am sitting at home, with nothing better to do.
That is why I asked ummi to watch this movie, and she agreed!

My reasons to watch this movie :
I) Hey, Lisa Surihani kot! She is my favourite actress, and so far her acting has never been disappointing.
2) Istanbul!Woah, the picturesque view, cobbled stones and a whole new world that I have never
experienced before. Of course I wanted to see it! Filem pun jadilah.
3) Beto Kusyairy.Hmm, tak pernah tengok dia berlakon. But, a lot of my friends like his acting.
So, I'm intrigued to see it for myself.
4) The reviews. So far, I've seen the BTS, the newspaper reviews.Plus, the director directed Gol & Gincu as well as Pisau Cukur before this, so kali ni pun mesti best jugak kan?
Trust me, it was everything I expected and more!
My mum and I was pretty late coming into the movie. So, the first thing I saw was this :
Haha, not exactly.But she was in a car, and terribly excited to see her boyfriend. Alas, she had to climb so much stairs with so many bags as well as wearing stilletto heels that I doubled up in laughter.
Luckily, a suspicious and gatal-looking Turkish man helped her carry the bags to Azad's apartment.
Sheesh, tak gentleman langsung biar gf angkat beg sorang ugh.
So, she met Azad (Tomok) and started cooking food for him and his roommates. There were mushy-mushy parts like the above pic, so I closed my eyes. Eughhh.
But Dian (Lisa) didin't look gedik at all ! She was really just a very bubbly, cheery, innocent ad gullible girl, which was quite endearing to me. Kudos Lisa !
Problem is, Azad didn't want Lisa to stay with him and his roommates. So, she has to find ANOTHER house to stay in.
Poor Dian. 'Thankfully', the Turkish man helped her find the perfect apartment. She was so happy until...
a man sneaked into her bathroom while she was showering! Yes, I've been waiting for Harris (Beto) to appear since the movie started! He comes in, and all laughter broke loose!
Turns out, Harris claims it was his apartment. After much arguing and shouting and mocking, they finally went to see the landowner. Alas, he wasn't there...

So, what is Dian to do? She chose to stay at Harris's apartment because she gave all her money to the Turkish man who conned her. Trust me, I laughed so hard until I've got tears in my eyes when Dian and Harris interacted.Seriously, they have what it takes to be the outstanding actors of today. Apart from having great chemistry, the banter that they have together and the characters that they portray are so.. believable. They make as though every word that comes out of their mouth look so natural and effortless, which I think what a great actor/actress should be. Congrats Beto and Lisa!
You guys are seriously my fave actor and actress right now :)
Moving on, as expected, Azad found out about Dian's roommate.
It really wasn't a pretty sight. Dian was so heartbroken :( And Harris, surprisingly, offered to explain to Azad on what exactly happened. This was a man who didn't even so much as speak to Dian and here he was offering to help her. Baiknyaaaa :D
They came over to Azad's house. Paling tak tahan, time Azad maki Dian.Sumpaaah, membara gilaa aku time tu! Then, Harris terus cakap mcm ni, ' Kau mintak maaf kat dia sekarang jugak! Dia girlfriend kau bro, respect sikit'. Damn serius respect doh character Harris time ni. Hence, a fight ensued between Harris and Azad. Suddenly, a turkish girl came to break the fight, then she and Dian pulak bergaduh aiyoooo.
The boys dah habis gaduh, so Harris tahan Dian while Azad tahan minah turki tu.
Aku dah agak dah yg Azad tu ada girlfriend lain . Tak guna punya laki.Harris pun bawaklah Dian balik rumah. Dian was so shocked and hurt that she wasn't capable of doing anything except cry by the window. Want to know what Harris did? He brought her slowly to the bathroom and cleaned her hair. ( Her hair was filled with ice cream from the fight). Baik gilaaaaa kan!!!
Dian made a choice to go back to Malaysia. But before that, Harris claimed that she haven't the opportunity to truly experience the beauty of Istanbul. So, they went sight-seeing together.Part ni sumpah sweet.
Aku tak ingat quote dia apa but it was like this lah :
" Awak terlalu baik untuk dia Dian. Kalau lelaki dah cakap macam tu, memang tulah perangai dia yang sebenar"
Bila balik rumah, tuptup Azad ada balik. Bukan main dia sweet talk dgn Dian, ugh I hate guys like this!
Azad ajak Dian kahwin, which was her dream come true. Bila naik rumah, turns out Dian accepted Azad's proposal.
Harris : Habis tu, awak nak terima dia macam tu je?
Dian : Awak, saya dah kenal dia lama dah. Bukan seminggu dua je.
Harris : Saya tahu, saya yang baru kenal awak seminggu dua je.
Sumpah hearbreaking gila time ni. Beto is such a good actor!
The next day, Dian packed her bags and prepared to go home. Nasib baik, Harris kejar.
So, who will it be? Harris or Azad?
Of course you can guess my answer. Problem is, can you guess the show's answer ?
My two cents :
This is definitely one of my favourite movies ever, and also my most favourite Malay movie ever.
I have never came out of the cinema yearning to watch the movie once again.
But this movie, made me just like that !
This movie is complete : Funny, romantic, sadness and a message that wraps it all up.
The message?
Don't be too gullible and trust a person that easily. The character Dian portrayed proved how she got hurt by trusting people too easily.
And it doesn't mean that if you know a person longer, you should be with him.
